Annual Meeting of all Students of the international Network Neisse University

05. Dez. 2013

On November 22th, 2013, the annual meeting of all students of the Neisse University training alliance of the three-nations English language Bachelor course of “Information and Communication Management“ took place on the campus of the Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences in the presence of official representatives from the three universities involved.

This event, which has become a beautiful tradition by now, marks the high value of cross-border cooperation in the border triangle of Germany / Poland / Czech Republic. The project, which is put into practice by the Technical University of Liberec, the Wrocław University of Technology and the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz has again proved its conceptual viability. To ensure that it would work on the basis of equality, a rotation system with the students studying at the Technical University of Liberec (Czech Republic), the Wrocław University of Technology (Poland) and the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz (Germany) for one year each is applied.

The purpose is to provide, within the framework of this annual meeting, the opportunity for students to exchange opinions on study issues and to celebrate together. Amongst other activities, a sightseeing tour through the town of Görlitz as well as a number of presentations on various subjects, such as student life, practicals and aids for study were included in the meeting. This Meeting of all students and guests was rounded off nicely with a party at the students club “Maus“.

This three-nations training alliance has rendered a contribution towards the creation of a European  education market in the Neisse – Nisa – Nysa Euroregion and continues to do so. The project serves to a deepening of cooperation between, on the one hand, universities in the Euroregion and, on the other, between universities and economy. The study provides for an excellent preparation of the graduates for the growing EU labour market. Internationally, this training alliance is on a course for growth and is continuously developed further.
